A fabulous Vintage Crane Brooch/Pendant with the most intricately carved details...
I've been hoarding this piece for a long time and have decided it's finally time for me to let him fly free. Crafted from rich 14k yellow gold, this vintage brooch has the most incredible hand-carved design with attention to detail down to each individual feather.
This guy is quite a substantial piece measuring 60mm × 80mm and weighing in at 23.5 grams of solid 14k gold. The backside is fitted with both a brooch pin and bail for stringing a chain to wear as a pendant.
He's hallmarked with 14k and the makers mark "AGA" which is AGA Correa & Son Jewelers based in Edgecomb, Maine. They are known for their nautical-themed pieces as well as realistic designs of animals found in the ocean or around the shore.
