This is what I would classify as a "Museum Quality" piece - the design and craftsmanship are absolutely flawless and it's in such pristine condition it looks as though it's never even been worn. Modeled from 14k vibrant yellow gold with the most magnificent patina I've ever come across in my years of collecting. Set with array of the finest Persian Turquoise cabochons that look as though they are brand new.
It's very clear that great care was taken to ensure this piece was expertly preserved over the past 120+ years making it look as though it was frozen in time. The back has a removable glass locket compartment that pops out to store a lock of hair or portrait of a loved one and is not made from gold but from a silver toned metal creating a nice contrast against the deep yellow gold.
Measuring 25mm x 38mm (including the bail) with a total weigh of 9.6 grams. This piece is an exceptional example of Victorian artistry with loads of character while also being an extremely wearable piece. I know | say this a lot but this one is killing me to let go - pieces in such immaculate condition like this are few and far between and getting even more rare to find!!!
