Crafted from warm 14k yellow gold, this incredible Georgian Garnet & Seed Pearl Cruciform Pendant is set with flat cut foiled-back Garnets in cut down collet bezels displaying the most vibrant hues of reds and purples that change color in every direction. The addition of Seed Pearls alternating between the stones give this piece a dazzling balance of visual contrast and a delicate feminine touch. The back of the pendant is almost as ravishing as the front with smooth rounded components housing each stone in its own little cocoon of yellow gold. Elegantly finished with a gem-set bail large enough to accommodate a variety of different sized chains or even a silk or velvet ribbon tied around the neck as a choker.
The stones and foiled backs are in excellent condition for their age and reflect the light beautifully making these stones dance with an assortment of divine colors. Measures 35mm x 44mm including the bail and has a total weight of 5.3 grams.
