This new arrival is a GORGEOUS piece of Art Nouveau craftsmanship made in the quintessential French artistic style.
Beautifully carved fleur scrolls modeled in 18k bloomed yellow gold with platinum floral accents and set with tiny rose cut Diamonds, one central set old mine cut Diamond and a petite Saltwater Pearl elegantly dangling from the bottom. A fabulous Brooch/Pendant combo that exemplifies the essence and style of the Art Nouveau era with flowing organic lines and delicately crafted details.
Measures 34mm x 37mm and has a total weight of 5.9 grams. The side is hallmarked with an eagle's head stamp and the hinge pin is signed and numbered (162) but unfortunately the makers mark has been worn down so I cannot identify the maker. There's two loops on the back for a chain to be strung through to allow this stunner to be worn as a pendant as well as a brooch.
