Modeled in 14k buttery yellow gold, this antique Art Nouveau Turtle Stickpin has his shell bezel set with a gorgeous faceted Madeira Citrine. The orange/amber hue of the stone complements the rich yellow gold making for a perfect marriage of warm colors. With exquisite attention to detail, from his tiny little toes to the texture of his skin, nothing was overlooked in the crafting of this fella.
The turtle alone measures 11mm x 13mm and 57.5mm including the pin portion. The Madeira Citrine measures 6mm x 8mm and is in fabulous condition with no chips or scratches. Total weight is 1.7 grams. The pin is hallmarked with 14k and a makers mark but a portion has worn away so I cannot make it out. There’s also a number signed on his head that reads 3753 W. He looks amazing as a pin but would also look phenomenal converted into a charm or ring as well.
