There are scarabs and then there's this complete MASTERPIECE. An antique hand-carved natural Coral Scarab with the most amazing depth and detail. From the tiny little eyes to the intricately carved legs and wings, this is a total work of art made with exquisite skill and precision. In all my years of collecting and sourcing I have never come across an antique scarab of this magnitude, it is extremely rare and impressive.
Crafted from 14k yellow gold, this antique ring is designed in a traditional ancient Egyptian design with horseshoe shaped ring shank and wrapped wire sides featuring a bezel set coral scarab. The scarab measures 11mm × 16mm and is in immaculate condition for its age. This is not a spinner ring and the scarab sits fixed atop the band connected by rivets on either side of the bezel. The sizing on this one is bit tricky because of the shape - it sits on my mandrel at a size 6 but fits my size 7 finger with a little room to spare. Can be sized down rather easily but will need a good jeweler who can carve ribs into the band if needed to be sized up at all.
